U.N. Approves Airstrikes Against Libya

So, quite astonishingly, the UN Security Council with American backing has approved air strikes against Libya: One moment Washington is against a modest no fly zone, and the next it's approving air strikes -- but all that stalling means that the window of opportunity to remove Qaddafi may have passed. Your thoughts?
The Security Council approved a measure on Thursday authorizing “all necessary measures” to protect Libyan civilians from harm at the hands of forces loyal to Colonel Muammar el-Qaddafi.
