Kristof on Libya

Nicholas D. Kristof  In Libya, Qaddafi's forces have retaken the important town of Zawiyah from rebels: http://nyti.ms/ifTm99  That's a very bad sign, and it may signal that Qaddafi forces are gaining the upper hand at least in the western part of the country. And if Qaddafi can consolidate control over the West, then he'll use his air power to go after the East. That would make a no-fly zone over the east particularly helpful.

Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi’s militia stormed the rebels controlling the town of Zawiyah on Saturday morning in what two residents described as a “massacre.”
